About Honeybee
When I lived in Miami I worked with Dorian at his dog boarding and training facility where I trained, handled, and fed dogs multiple times a day which were owned by exclusive clients. Breeds included Cane Corso, Malinois as well as other rare and highly sought after breeds.
Before that I worked as an independent dog walker for three years, then started working with Katie Blank, a professional who specialized in training service animals and dogs with behavioral issues. Katie taught me the fundamentals of training, including how to use an e-collar without causing stress to the animal.
In 2023 I moved to New York City and became an independent dog trainer where I currently offer my services to a variety of clients.
When I work with an animal, the most important thing is to establish real communication using non-verbal cues to speak the dog's natural language, in the same way that dogs in the wild can communicate and have deep social bonds.
Services
Dog Training
I offer services in leash manners, basic obedience, aggressive behavior, excessive barking problem behaviors such as jumping on people and furniture, and more. I offer education on various training devices that are often misunderstood such as e-collars, prong collars, and slip leads.
Overnight Dog Sitting
I not only make sure your dog is eating and drinking but also I pay close attention to all of its needs while making sure your home is cared for in the best way possible. Being trained by a professional elevates the experience for your dog by keeping them mentally stimulated and engaged. I provide them with the enrichment they need to promote the healthy life you want for them.
Dog Nutrition
I can evaluate your dog's diet and make recommendations for a nutrition plan that provides optimal health, including physical fitness and an exercise plan that compliments their diet.
Dog Walking
As a trainer and veteran dog walker, I provide a superior experience for your dog, giving it real one-on-one time. Their safety, enjoyment and behavior is not only assured but is sure to improve!
Leash Safety
Both human and dog have roles to play on opposite ends of the leash. I not only teach your dog how to understand cues and signals but I give you a wider range of tools to ensure you and your dog have the best bond possible every time you leave your house.
Animal Transportation
I work closely with a licensed and certified animal transportation service based in Williamsburg for cases where your dog may need to be safely transported anywhere within or outside New York City.
